A collaborative learning journey…

‘The group 4 project is a collaborative activity where students from different group 4 subjects work together on a scientific or technological topic, allowing for concepts and perceptions from across the disciplines to be shared … to “develop an understanding of the relationships between scientific disciplines and their influence on other areas of knowledge.” The project can be practically or theoretically based. Collaboration between schools in different regions is encouraged’.

Diploma Programme Biology Guide, IBO 2014

We at The British School, New Delhi, believe in collaborative learning and in order to lend an international dimension to this have for the past few years collaborated with other schools for the Group 4 Project. In previous years we collaborated with The Ritsumeikan Uji, School in Kyoto, Japan as well as Brockton High School, MA, USA. The previous collaboration can be viewed here: 2015 collaboration

The present collaboration is between two schools:

Bay Port High School, WI, and The British School, New Delhi.

The overarching theme for this years project is

‘Waste to Wealth’

Please watch how the students in both schools have enriched their experiences as they progressed in their collaborative learning journey…
